BlackBerry Curve 8320 has features similar to its previous model

BlackBerry Curve 8320 is an upgraded version of the Curve 8300. The phone has a UMA (Unlicensed Mobile Access) technology that allows switching of calls between GSM and WiFi very easily. The phone is designed to cater to those people who liked the style of AT&T Curve, but with better and more customized features. The color of the phone is in either Titanium or Pale Gold and is much smaller and lighter than its predecessor Curve 8300.


BlackBerry Curve 8320 has features similar to its previous model of Curve 8300, but is unique due to the UMA technology. UMA now makes it possible to provide a good quality phone call without having to create a separate VoIP account or application from those places that has weak cell phone service, through switching it to the UMA that works with any WiFi access point. Though this service is not free, as there are many plans one can subscribe it, which depends on their usage. Just like other UMA phone, BlackBerry Curve 8320 also requires to make an account on Hotspot@Home offered by T-Mobile over Wifi starting from $10/month.

BlackBerry Curve 8320 comes with the QWERTY keyboard that has a built in media player for both music and video. Moreover it has Bluetooth service that is supported by the stereo. It also includes the 2 Mega Pixel camera along with usual good quality email and WAP services. The phonebook memory has unlimited entries and fields with the option of Photocalls. The phone has a built-in 64 MB ROM, with a card slot of microSD chip that has the capacity up till 4GB.
